Employment Opportunity – Local staff for economic affairs and economic cooperation

The Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Moldova is seeking for a local staff for economic affairs and economic cooperation. Please see below for a detailed listing of responsibilities:

1. Post offered
- Local staff for economic affairs and economic cooperation at the Embassy office

2. Main points of Job Duties
- Information gathering, analysis and reporting about socio-economic affairs and economic cooperation.

- Organizing meeting and events in the area of economic cooperation.
- Maintaining correspondence with counterpart organizations.

- Translation of relevant documents from Romanian and Russian into English.

- Assisting communication of Japanese staffs in Romanian and Russian.
 
3. Qualifications

- Citizenship of the Republic of Moldova;

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, social science etc.;
- Fluency in English, Romanian and Russian;

- Previous work experience in a similar position would be an advantage.

4. Terms and conditions
- Starting date of work: December 2023 (upon consultation)
- Working hours: 9:00 am – 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday
- The gross monthly remuneration rate starts at about 900USD or higher per month depending on prior experience of the candidate.
