Dispatch, Logistics Coordinator, Trucking Dispatcher

CTS Express Inc. a company that has been operating in the U.S. freight transportation market for over 15 years. We are currently expanding and seeking a motivated Truck Dispatcher to join our team. This is a full time job, and the hours are from 7:00 - 16:00 CST, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate loads for drivers.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor and manage driver routes, providing real-time support and updates.
• Optimize load planning to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Negotiate rates with brokers to secure profitable loads.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the trucking/logistics industry (preferably with reefer loads).
• Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the U.S. freight market, including lanes, rates, and regulations.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve issues under pressure.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, if needed
